April 20th, 2025. Vancouver, B.C.
What a rough week. Two close friends moved away from Vancouver, and while saying goodbye is hard, I am very happy for them. Work is still chaotic: with ups and downs, lots of learning opportunities, very dynamic. I feel an increase in my responsibilities and tasks, and also in my skills. It's been an exciting challenge.
I am taking a linear programming and approximation algorithms course for my Master's in Computer Science. When I was in undergrad, linear programming was one of the last courses I took, and I liked it; I now have the chance to go a bit deeper into the subject.
I finished Baldur's Gate 3 and loved it. I think I've never played a video game with so many options and branches as this one. I will take a break for a while and play it again later. In the meantime, I'm looking for a game that fills that void.
Reading about astrophysics to quench my curiosity about natural sciences.
